Look, Vancouver's got long, grey winters and dramatic landscapes - kinda like Scandinavia, right? We figured out years ago that the Nordic approach to building isn't just pretty, it's practical as hell. Maximizing daylight when you don't have much, using local timber the right way, making sure your building doesn't fight the weather but works with it.

Started this practice in 2018 after spending way too much time in Norwegian workshops and Swedish design studios. Brought back ideas that actually make sense for how we live on the West Coast - spaces that feel warm without cranking the heat, designs that age gracefully, and materials that don't need replacing every decade.
